Ordering and Products

What does Snoozeluxe sell?

We make orthopaedic dog beds, designed and developed in-house and manufactured in Belgium. The range includes the Flat Bed (no headrests), the Lounge Bed (one headrest), the Corner Bed (two headrests) and the Sofa Bed (three headrests), alongside Crate Beds for use inside a dog crate. Because every bed is modular, we also sell the individual components separately: replacement mattresses, mattress protectors, covers, anti-slip underlays and other components, plus conversion kits if you'd like to upgrade a Flat Bed into a Lounge, Corner or Sofa later on.

What's the difference between the Flat, Lounge, Corner and Sofa models?

They share the same mattress and foam specification - the difference is the number of raised headrests, which affects how much containment your dog gets and how much free lying surface is left. The Flat Bed has none and offers the most open space; the Sofa Bed has headrests on three sides for dogs who like to lean or rest their head against an edge. Our How to Choose a Dog Bed guide walks through which shape tends to suit which dogs.

What size should I order?

Sizing is based on a single measurement: your dog's length from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, not including the tail itself. The maximum-length figures in our Dog Bed Size Guide already build in the margin needed for natural movement, so you can match your measurement straight to the table - no extra calculation required. If your dog falls between two sizes, we'd always recommend going up rather than down. You can also browse beds by size or get a general starting point with beds by breed.

What crate bed should I get?

The most important thing is to measure the interior of your crate first, rather than going by the dimensions listed by the crate manufacturer - these are often rounded up and can be a few centimetres out, which makes all the difference when you're fitting a bed inside. Once you have the internal length and width, you can match it against the sizes on our Dog Bed Size Guide.

Do you only sell beds in black?

At the moment, yes - the current range is available in black Cordura®. Additional cover colours and materials are in development and will be added to the range in due course.

Do I need to create an account to order?

No, you're welcome to check out as a guest. Creating an account simply makes it quicker to track orders and arrange returns in future, but it isn't required to place an order.

Are your beds suitable for puppies or for dogs with joint problems?

Yes to both, although for different reasons - puppies benefit from consistent, supportive sleep as they grow, while senior or joint-sensitive dogs benefit from a stable, pressure-relieving surface that's easier to get up from. Our Orthopaedic Dog Bed Guide goes into more detail on who benefits most and what to look for.

Materials and Care

What's actually inside a Snoozeluxe bed?

Every bed is built from the same core components: a foam mattress, a removable mattress protector, an outer cover, and a separate anti-slip underlay. The foam core is 40 kg/m³ high-resilience polyurethane foam - the same specification used in quality human seating and sleeping furniture - chosen because it holds its shape under continuous load rather than sagging or compressing the way memory foam or cheaper, lower-density foam can. The full breakdown of every material, including why we made each choice, is in our Quality and Materials page.

What is the outer cover made from?

Our covers are made from Cordura® polyamide fabric (260 g/m², 100% polyamide 6.6), which is rated for over 200,000 Martindale abrasion cycles - well beyond standard upholstery fabric. Each cover closes with a YKK® zipper running along three sides, so one person can open and remove it fully without the runner catching in the fabric.

Are the materials certified safe?

Yes - all materials used in Snoozeluxe beds are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning they've been tested for harmful substances. The beds themselves are manufactured in Belgium.

How durable are your beds?

All our beds are made from high-quality materials, chosen specifically so the bed holds up to years of daily use - and because every component can be replaced individually, a worn cover or tired-out mattress doesn't mean starting again with a whole new bed. That said, no material is indestructible: if your dog is a determined chewer or digger, even the best materials won't stand up to deliberate destruction.

Can these beds be used outdoors?

They're designed mainly for indoor use. A few hours outside in dry weather is fine, but we wouldn't recommend leaving a bed outdoors for extended periods - a black cover in direct sun heats up quickly, and your dog is unlikely to want to lie on it. The mattress protector also isn't fully waterproof, as the seams and zipper aren't sealed: it's effective against everyday moisture, dirt and the odd accident, but it isn't built to withstand heavy rain or standing water.

How do I clean and care for my Snoozeluxe bed?

Because every component is removable, each one is cleaned separately:

  • Outer cover: machine washable at or below 30°C with the zipper closed. Air dry only - do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean.
  • Mattress protector: machine washable at or below 30°C. Air dry only.
  • Anti-slip underlay: hand washable at up to 40°C and air dried separately.
  • Foam mattress: not machine washable - this is exactly why the mattress protector exists, to keep the foam itself clean and dry.

Can I replace a worn cover or change my bed's shape later on?

Yes. Every part of a Snoozeluxe bed - the cover, mattress, protector, headrests and underlay - is sold separately and designed to be replaced independently, so there's no need to buy a whole new bed when only the cover has had enough. You can also upgrade a Flat Bed into a Lounge, Corner or Sofa configuration at any time using one of our conversion kits, without replacing the mattress.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay using Pay By Bank, Bancontact, the KBC/CBC Payment Button, Belfius Direct Net, iDEAL, Wero, credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and all prices on the website are shown in euros (EUR).

When is my card or account charged?

Payment is taken at the time you place your order, once you've reviewed your order summary and accepted our Terms and Conditions.

Shipping and Delivery

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship within the European Union, with the exception of certain remote or hard-to-reach locations. If your address falls outside our delivery area, you'll be notified of this during checkout. All orders are shipped from Belgium via GLS.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the destination country and are calculated automatically once you enter your address - the total will always be shown in your order summary before you pay, so there are no surprises at checkout.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are processed and dispatched within an average of 1 to 2 business days, and you'll receive a tracking email as soon as your parcel is on its way. Transit time after dispatch then depends on the destination - typically 1 to 2 business days for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, rising to around 4 to 6 business days for the furthest Nordic and Baltic destinations. Our Shipping and Delivery page has the full country-by-country breakdown.

Is there any assembly required?

It depends on the model and size:

  • Crate Beds (all sizes), and Flat, Lounge, Corner and Sofa beds in sizes S and M: always fully assembled in a single parcel. Just take the bed out of the packaging, place the anti-slip underlay underneath it, and it's ready to use.
  • Flat beds in size L: also fully assembled in a single parcel, ready to use straight away - the Flat Bed has no headrests, so there's nothing extra to attach.
  • Lounge, Corner and Sofa beds in size L: arrive in two parcels, but everything inside is already fully assembled - one parcel contains the mattress with its protector and cover already on, and the other contains the headrest(s), each with their own foam, protector and cover already assembled. The only thing left to do is attach the headrest(s) to the bed, which is simply a matter of pressing the velcro strips on the headrest and the mattress cover together.
  • Flat, Lounge, Corner and Sofa beds in sizes XL and XXL: these ship unassembled, because the foam mattress is too large to send fully made up. One parcel contains the compressed foam mattress, and a second contains the mattress protector, cover and any headrests. Open the protector's zipper, fold it open, place the mattress inside and close the zipper, then do the same with the outer cover.

Our Shipping and Delivery page has more detail on packaging by model and size, including how to safely unpack a compressed mattress.

My order arrived damaged - what should I do?

Please don't accept a delivery if the packaging is visibly damaged, and let us know straight away at so we can sort it out. If you've already accepted the parcel and notice damage once it's open, the same address applies.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Yes, free of charge and without giving a reason, as long as it hasn't been dispatched yet. Just contact us via the contact form or by emailing and we'll confirm the cancellation and refund any payment already made. Once you've received dispatch confirmation, the order can no longer be cancelled - but you're still covered by your right to return it.

What is your returns policy?

As a consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your product - no reason required. To use it, simply notify us within that period using the model withdrawal form or by email to , and then send the product back within 14 days of letting us know. Full details, including the withdrawal form itself, are on our Returns and Warranty page.

Does the product need to be in a particular condition to return it?

Yes - to be eligible for a refund, the product must be unworn, unwashed and otherwise unused, complete with all its parts, and still have its original labels attached. You're welcome to unpack and inspect it as you would in a shop, but it can't have been used by your dog: any sign of use such as hair, odours, stains or scratch marks will mean the refund is refused. We photograph every product before dispatch and again on return so condition can be compared fairly.

Who pays for return shipping?

If you're returning a product under the 14-day right of withdrawal, return shipping is at your own expense. If you're returning a product because it's faulty under warranty, we cover the return cost provided you use our designated standard shipping method.

I ordered an XL or XXL bed and want to return it - is there anything I should know?

Yes, please read this before opening the packaging. On these larger sizes, the compressed foam mattress arrives in a separate, vacuum-sealed parcel. Once that seal is broken, it's practically impossible to recompress and repack the mattress yourself for a return, and we won't be able to provide a return label for it - you'd need to arrange your own suitable shipping. To check the bed's size and feel without opening this packaging, start with the cover and mattress protector parcel and rely on the product photos and dimensions for the mattress itself. Full guidance is on our Returns and Warranty page.

How and when will I get my refund?

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll refund the purchase amount to the payment method you originally used (or as vouchers, if that's how you paid) within a reasonable period.

Warranty

What happens if my bed develops a fault?

You're covered by the statutory warranty as a consumer. If you discover a defect, please report it within 2 months by email (with a read receipt) or registered letter to Nordcrest Group BV, Meersbloemstraat 20, 9890 Gavere, Belgium. Once we have your report, send the product back within 14 days in its original packaging, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as appropriate. Some products also come with a supplementary manufacturer's warranty - see the product description for details.
